The ABC's of me!!

I saw this on someones page and thought it was cute...Kirk is playing Halo and I got bored of watching..
A: Attached or single? Attached to an amazing man!
B: Best Friend? Cheesy to say, but my husband:)
C: Cake or Pie? Chocolate Haupia Pie from Ted's bakery on the North Shore.
D: Day of choice? Saurdays are always fun because there's no work and always something fun to do!
E: Essential item? My lip gloss. Been using Vanilla Swirl since i was 16 and don't plan on quiting anytime soon! Can't leave home without it
F: Favorite color? I really love purple and pink, guess that makes me a girly girl.
G: Gummi Bears or Worms? They have to be the sour gummi worms or else I don't want any!
H: Hometown: San Clemente; small town by the beach, people know your name and they do claim to have the best climate on earth
I: Favorite Indulgence? An hour long deep tissue massage. I request to get the strongest guy there because I have knots of steel!
J: January or July? My tan is much better in July, so yes, July!
K: Kids? Moo really is like a child even though Kirk doesn't always agree with me. She cries, needs affection, food and water and lost her baby teeth, so what would you think?
L: Life is incomplete without? Laughing everyday and enjoying the things that I love especially Kirk!
M: Marriage Date? December 16th, 2006- Give it up for over a year!
N: Number of Siblings: 2- Trav is 22 and Brooke is 18. Both are super smart and super cute! Love that they are home for the holidays!
O: Oranges or Apples? A cold orange on a summer day is just about the best thing ever, although apples with peanut butter at the beach is also one of my favorites:)
P: Phobias or fears? Cane spiders are about the size of a tarantula but they bite! Try turning on the light and seeing one running right toward your feet! I hate spiders! When we were living in Las Vegas I also had a major fear of scorpions getting in our bed! Pretty standard girl phobias I guess
Q: Quote: "It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice" "Nobody cares how much you know until they know how much you care" "Moo, you left the toilet seat up again!"
R: Reason to Smile? We just went on a beautiful bike ride along the beach and I just enjoyed some lemon cake from Costco- life is good:) Plus, I have a really hot husband that I get to look at whenever I want!
S: Season of choice? Depends on where I am I guess. In Vegas it was the fall for sure, but in most cases I would have to say summer because that means the beach, bbq's, vacation time, and cute clothes!
T: Tag five friends: Katie, Niccole, Brittany, Emily, and Sami and everyone else!
U: Unknown Fact: I am pretty sure I am either Manic depressive or just really ADHD
V: Favorite Vegetable? Zucchini
W: Worst habit: Biting my nails, saying "like" a lot
X: X-Ray or Ultrasound? Ultrasound. They are just so amazing
Y: Favorite Food? banana splits, banana pancakes and homemade warm banana muffins- I like bananas! I'm a fan of almost all food though I must say
Z: Zodiac Sign? Aries

We're Baaack!!

Here are some recent shots of us around SC. My girlfriend Shannon and I are committed to staying in shape so the other day we went for a long walk along the beach trail from south San Clemente up to North Beach- so beautiful and so fun! I couldn't believe I was sporting a tank top for the walk! Although we've had a little bit of rain, the weather is much nicer than Vegas (although we do miss it there!) After our walk we decorated Shannon's small yet cute tree! The best part was that the tree was on sale for $8! Now why can't I ever find deals like that?
The last pic is one that most might recognize- the San Diego temple. Kirk and I went down there one night to pick up some awesome clothes that we will get to wear in a couple weeks.. We'll be sealed in Newport's temple, but I LOVE the San Diego one too!
Life is good here in good ol' S.C. Not a lot changes here, but there is a nice feeling to having things move a little slower. My family is glad to have us home; Brooke just got home from BYU yesterday and is okay with us taking over here wing of the house for while:) She is an awesome little sister. Once the boys get back from their trip to Guatemala we'll all be here for an awesome Christmas! Hoping and wishing you all the best holidays filled with love and cheer! Miss you all... Happy Anniversary!!

So, it's really hard to believe that it has already been a year for us! Talk about a busy year! Moving and surgeries, new jobs and a new home! Getting a new puppy and new haircuts, getting pregnant and unpregnant:( Taking a cruise through Central America and the Caribbean, not to mention getting married and getting a whole new family! It's been quite the year and I'm kinda hoping this next one isn't quite so busy!
Kirk and I celebrated our anniversary 1 day early (our anniv. is Dec. 16th) so we could go out to dinner and do all that. My awesome husband took me to Roy's which is one of my favorite restaurants ever:) It was sweet and romantic and they even brought out dessert with "Happy Anniversary" written on it. As you can see from the pictures it was yummy and we downed it pretty fast! Since our anniversary and Christmas fall so close together we decided to combine our gifts for each other. I got Kirk an Electra Beach Cruiser which has black rims, thick meaty tires and a Harley feel to it- he loves it! Kirk got me this beautiful diamond band that I will wear with my wedding ring (you'll have to pardon my ugly dry hands in the pic) We went a little extravagant this year, but it was our first and that is pretty awesome we thought! We can't wait for dozens and dozens more to come! Being married is one of my favorite things ever and now we just can't wait for the temple on January 5th when we get to be married forever!

Good Bye Kona's...

It was the perfect dark, cold and dreary day for me to have my last day at work. I must say that it is not one of my favorite things in the world saying good bye to people! The friends I made at Kona's were fun and sweet and I will truly miss them! My manager bought me lunch for my last day there and since it was slow we pretty much just made today a party!

So now we are off to California in a couple days where I will begin my job hunt and figure out what's next! I can't decide if I want to go back and get my Master's for teaching or do something entirely different, all I do know is that I have to do something! I got my first commission check for Scentsy today and I might just try to make that my full time career. I'm loving the sweet smells our home always has and all the parties I have had for Scentsy have been a "scentsational" hit. It's amazing how fun and easy this stuff is to sell! Any stay at home moms or gals that just want a little extra dough should let me know and I'll tell you all about it!

The Other Side of Las Vegas

So this is us enjoying Las Vegas before we leave! We live in Summerlin right now which is close by to Red Rock Canyon. A lot of tourists see Vegas as nothing but billboards and the stip with tons of lights, clubs and strip bars, but the funny thing is, when you live here, you stay away from the strip as much as possible! Kirk, Moo and I went for a fun hike through these gorgeous canyons enjoying the awesome views and beautiful day that Vegas has to offer. It's not the beach, but it really was super fun! Note: In the second picture you can see that Moo really appreciated the view as much as I did:)

Fun in L.A. with the girls!

Last weekend I went down to L.A. to have a girls' trip with Natalie and Liz and we had a blast! Natalie lives in Brentwood where a lot of celebrities can be found as well as awesome shopping, restaurants and places to go! We hit up the Ivy on Saturday and went by the LA temple and cruised around Malibu, Beverly Hills, Bel Air, Santa Monica and of course- Rodeo Drive:) It seems weird that I grew up an hour from LA and never really had to full experience, so I grabbed my camera and played tourist for a couple days- so fun! We'll be moving home soon, so this was a little appetizer of what's to come!
