Happy Thanksgiving!

From our family to yours!

My apologies for not getting more pictures this year, just didn't feel up to it. Luckily, I have a very talented brother in law that takes the most amazing photographs for us! We had a great time up in Morgan Hill with Kirk's family this year. We had a new addition this year with baby Kamryn and realized that next year we'll have a new addition thanks to us! Gosh, we are excited and once I can get past this all day sickness stuff life will be even more amazing. I love Kirk's awesome and big family and have posted a family picture below. Can you believe that this is just his immediate family? Yes, I am lucky for all of them:)

We've got a heart beat folks!!

Yeah, all this nausea hasn't been for nothing! We got to see our little peanut yesterday, and while he/she may be smaller than my pinkie nail, I love him/her so much! The doctor said everything is looking great and that the nausea is a good thing (I wish I could believe him when I am dying in bed each day.)
Keep beating little heart! You can do it! And as far as my due date is concerned, they are torn between July 7-13th. A little bit of a gap, but at least I might be able to enjoy 4th of July at the beach!
Kirk thinks it's a boy and I'm kinda thinking it's a girl.. but one thing is for sure, we've got an embryo of growing cells going on!

Trav's Farewell Weekend

Here is our Ohana
I cannot believe my brother is gone to the MTC! It seems like it was so far away and now he is already there learning everything that good missionaries need to know. We are all so proud of him and can't wait to hear how he does out in Perth Australia! Travis is probably going to be one of the best missionaries to ever teach the people of Australia (and I'm not just saying that as his proud older sister). We love you Travis and will miss you very much!
Many people came to see Travis off including a lot of his buddies
Here are my two funny aunties! I love them so much! We had a good time playing games together while everyone was here visiting from Utah, Wyoming, Colorado and various California places.
Here are some of the Webers with some old time friends- Pat and Tyler Wilsey. We grew up living across the street from the Wilseys and it's so great that they are still friends!
The Weber boys. This picture makes me want to cry. And it's probably just because I cry at everything these days! Gosh, I am so emotional. My uncle Con (left, and yes, he and my dad are identical twins so don't think you need to get your eyes checked) and my Grandpa Walt came down to see Trav and it was really touching to see how many people really love my brother.

Of course, what would a fun weekend be without some traveling for all of us! Saturday we all ventured down to San Deigo to go for a ride on my dad's boat that is living down there now. We had fun cruising around the harbor, checking out downtown, and trying to dodge seasickness:)
Dom and Kirk at the bow of the boat. I think we must have at least a dozen pictures from this angle.
The young, unmarried folk: Ro, Trav, Tanner and BB. Did I mention that my little sister is planning on serving a mission too?! That means she and my brother will be out at the same time! I really don't know what my poor mother will do. I mean, she'll be stuck with just Kirk and me while they're gone!;)
Okay, funny story that I have to include because I was laughing so hard about it. This is a picture of Amber doing her "Ariel" impression. Her daugther Tiegan is probably the funniest little 3 year old in the world! She is such a girly girl and when asked what she'd like to do for the day she'll say things like "go to the mall." You know, typical 3 yr. old stuff. Well for her 2nd or 3rd birthday they threw her a party with all of her friends in their nice backyard in Colorado. Everyone was there and everyone was outside. Tiegan would go outside for a brief moment and then run back inside so worried that the wind was messing up her hair! Anyway, the only way they were able to coax her outside was to say that the wind blowing through your hair made you look beautiful like Ariel. She thought about it and finally went outside determined that her lovely dark locks danced in the wind like Ariel's long red hair. I dunno, maybe I just think that is funny, but I had to share.
Amber, Auntie Marcia and Maile enjoying the sea voyage.
As seasick as I get, I actually felt great this whole day on the water! Unlike now where I feel like I am really seasick just sitting in this chair.. or lying in bed, or doing just about anything! I am not complaining though, I am sooooo excited to be pregnant!
Mike, Uncle Marcus and Auntie Wendy!
The two artsie lovebirds: Brooke and Tanner. Really, they are like totally meant for each other!
Dom, Ambo and Mai:)
We just wish they all lived here so we could see them all the time! Love you guys and thanks for coming out to make it such a great weekend for Travis!!

WE'RE EXPECTING!!!!!!

Look what I did the other week?! Yes, that's right! After trying for a long long time, we are finally expecting a little Schilling sometime in the beginning of July! (I think) I am off to get my first ultrasound today and will report afterward, but I just wanted to share that with everyone because Kirk an I couldn't be more excited! We are so grateful and humbled by this chance to be parents!

Halloween Part II!

Boo!! Happy Halloween everyone! I hope it was full of ghostly ghouls and freakish fun!! Kirk and I had an excellent Halloween this year. From party to party we lived it up! Saturday night we co-hosted a fabulous Halloween party up at the Kings. It was complete with yummy treats, and lots of friends, as well as awesome decorations and classic games and costume contests. A big THANK YOU to Chris and Alan King that know how to have a good time! Whoo hoo! Displayed above you will see a lovely photo of Kirk and me. We do scary really well for Halloween. While other girls are focused on how to be the "sexy cop" or the "sexy firefighter" or the "sexy tree cutter" or the "sexy dog dropping" (it's AMAZING how they can make everything sexy, huh?) we focus on how to create a costume that will be sure to make others run! Oh yeah, we are the sexiest of them all!
Jenn and Will as the Skeleton and 80's workout girl!
My favorite of the night: Bun in the Oven! Lori actually just found out she's pregnant! Cute huh?
Julie and Tyler as the Farmers from that one famous picture.. I forget what it's called.
Oooooh... scary lights!!
Kirk and Jason is their Ping Pong tournament
One of my other favorites. Can you guess it? Ipod ear buds! Love it!
Japanese meets Chinese (I don't think anyone knew the difference) Go Jason and Kelly!
Kels and me:)
Can't wait for next year! Happy Halloween everyone!!

Halloween Part 1!

Halloween is such a special time of year. People get to throw their boring looks away and transform themselves into a myriad of different characters: Scooby Doo characters, Monsters, Geishas, Vampires, Pilots and attendants, Ice Skaters, and my personal favorite- the Ghetto bootie pair. Thanks to the Asays for throwing such a fun party!
Girls vs. Boys
The Asays!
The Wares- Queen Bee and Worker Bee:)
One night of outfits. Not my favorite, but fun nonetheless. Getting back to my roots:)
