Maybe it's just a phase, but Malia is loving being held or put in a carrier or a sling or swaddled. It's like she doesn't want to be left alone. Like today I couldn't put her down without her waking up or fussing. My girlfriend Lindsay said that sometimes this happens inexplicably at around 6 weeks. Well, Malia is 5 1/2 weeks right now and so maybe that's it. It's okay, I love my balding beauty:) She sure does make me happy!

james started doing the same thing a few weeks ago! watch out for 7 weeks... he has been crying after I try to put him down after the 3am feeding. Not fun, but the swaddle totally helps! hopefully just a phase :) your little peanut is sooo cute!
