So, blogging has been pushed aside these days due to sheer busy-ness. My mentor at Keller Williams cautions new real estate agents to stay busy, not just appear busy. I really don't know which of the two I've been doing, but it's busy-ness to say the least!
We put an offer in on a home here in San Clemente in the beginning of April. We had been looking for some time and after getting "pre-approved" (far different from getting the actual loan approval!) we started our hunt. We were elated to find a house in South San Clemente with 2,500 square feet and an ocean view! We fell in love and that's where we've been for over a month now. Buying a house is so stressful! Whoever said it was fun apparently wasn't the real estate agent writing the deal on it during an economic crisis with Lenders. Talk about a learning experience! I figure this is my first deal so it's supposed to be difficult and once I get this one deal under my belt it will be so much easier from here on out! (I'm really hoping or else I am going to give up my real estate career)
I have to apologize to everyone because this house has been consuming our lives. We have been spending so much time on it that I have almost forgotten about everyone else! How are all of you doing? I DO care! I swear I am not a horrible friend!
Kirk is plugging away doing an excellent job with his new business and I am still teaching, doing my real estate classes and trying to do a few car deals on the side.
I am so grateful for friends and family however, that help put things into perspective. I was able to get away for a weekend with the girls for some R & R at Palm Springs, and had a blast! Seriously, all we did was play in the pool, lay out, go for golf cart rides and just talk talk talk! It was perfect!

My fabulous mother had a birthday recently too! We get to celebrate her a lot this time of year with Mother's Day and her birthday! I love you mom!
And then of course, we can always count on the deVilliers for some fun weekend time! We BBQed and ate yummy desserts and then proceded to get addicted to a new game called Sequence. Played it before? We love it!
Oh and then to really help destress, I am so grateful for a sister that loves being my work out buddy. We have gotten creative this summer since she's been home from school on how we are going to get in shape. We do beach runs and plyometrics, stairs and circuit training down by the harbor, and then we have our fun tennis days!

Chels, you do have serious tennis skills! I remember our few tennis games. We rocked.
Sounds like you're doing awesome. Good luck with all the final things for the house. Such a pain, huh. But well worth it. Miss you!

Hi Chelsea! I occasionally peak at your blog when on Kelly's page. You always inspire me to want to work out more. You have the cutest figure!
Looks like you guys are having a good time. Kiss Kell-bell for me. Let me know when you're in Hawaii again.
I need to check out the house! If you are a bad friend, then I am a huge joke of a friend....and I really am...haha. Hope all is well with you guys though, thanks for the update!
